Therapy for Men in Recovery in Maine

If you’re searching for a therapist in Maine who’s warm, direct, and practical, you’re in the right place.

I offer online therapy for men in recovery throughout Maine. Whether you're dealing with anxiety that showed up when you got sober, past experiences that still affect how you react and relate, or you want support going deeper in your recovery, we can work together from wherever you are in the state, so you can get help from home, work, or while traveling or on vacation in Maine.

If you’re near Portland, Falmouth, Cumberland, DownEast, or up North, book a free 15 minute call and we’ll see if this feels like a good fit.

What brings you here?

You got sober and did the work. But something is still showing up. Maybe it's anxiety you didn't expect. Maybe it's old stuff that affects your relationships or how you react. Maybe there are things you've never said out loud to anyone.

You've tried to address it. It helped some. Not enough.

You want support that goes deeper and works with what you've already built in your recovery.

How I help men in recovery in Maine

I help men in recovery who are sober and stable but still carrying something unresolved. Less reactivity, fewer triggers calling the shots, and more calm in the moments that used to derail you.

That could mean working through anxiety that showed up when you got sober, processing past experiences with EMDR so they lose their grip, or building real tools for relationships and daily life with ACT.

With 22 years in recovery myself, I understand this work from both sides. Sessions are online, private, and easy to fit around your life in Portland, Gorham, Cumberland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough, and beyond

  • Old memories stop hijacking your present.

  • You react differently in relationships and it starts to feel natural.

  • You sleep better and feel steadier day to day.

  • Recovery feels fuller and more free.
