I accept credit, debit, HSA, and FSA cards. A valid card is required on file and payment is processed automatically after your session or at the end of the week. HSA and FSA cards are accepted as long as the card allows for online payment. Clients are responsible for ensuring services are covered through their HSA or FSA plan.
Insurance & Superbills
Do you accept insurance?
No. This is an intentional choice to protect your privacy and give us more freedom to shape care around you. Insurance requires a formal diagnosis on your record and can control how often we meet and how long we work together. Keeping therapy private means we focus on what helps you, not what your insurance covers.
For out of network reimbursement, I can provide you with a superbill upon request, but it is up to you as the client to communicate with your insurance to find out what your policy covers and submit for reimbursement. If you choose to use a superbill, please understand that I am required to include a diagnosis, along with other information so that your insurance may provide you with reimbursement for services, according to their policies. We can talk about this process if you have any questions or concerns.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost before you begin services. As a private pay practice, I will provide this to you before we start working together. If you have questions about this, please reach out.

No. While my practice is focused on men in recovery, if substances are not an issue for you but you are dealing with anxiety or past trauma, we might also be a good fit. If you are currently using, reach out and we can talk about whether this is the right fit for where you are right now. Book a free consult and we'll figure it out together.

No. Although I've chosen to focus my practice on men in recovery, I have extensive experience working with women and people of all gender identities, and the EMDR and ACT approaches I use are equally effective. If you think we might be a good fit, book a free consult and we'll figure it out together.

We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been going on, and what you're hoping to get out of it. We'll set some initial goals and I'll answer any questions you have. It's a chance for us to get to know each other and figure out how to move forward. Depending on what's going on and if time allows, I like to introduce at least one grounding technique you can start using.

It depends on what you're working on and your goals. Some clients come for a focused period of work, a handful of months to address something specific. Others prefer to work longer. We'll talk about this in the consult and revisit as we go.
